Know Before You Go

We’re excited to welcome you to Google’s MP7 Event Center on Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday, December 12 for BazelCon 2019! There are a few things you should know before joining us next week:

SIGN UP FOR OFFICE HOURS Want 1:1 time with an expert? Check in with the reception desk at any time during the conference and sign up for Office Hours with a Bazel Engineer! Current topics and time slots are attached to help you plan ahead - sign-ups will be first come first serve at the conference.

HALF DAY BAZEL BOOTCAMP, HOSTED BY OASIS DIGITAL New to Bazel? Join Oasis Digital on Thursday, December 12 for a Half Day Getting Started with Bazel Bootcamp! Pre-work can be found here.

CODE OF CONDUCT Be sure to take a look at our Code of Conduct before you attend!

PARKING Since MP7 is part of a larger Google campus, parking is shared with employees and will be limited. The planning committee recommends utilizing rideshare services or carpooling when possible, and arriving on the early-end (8-8:30am) of breakfast and registration if you need to park. See this document for further instructions on parking at Moffett Place.

FOOD Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free breakfast and lunch will be offered each day, and each ingredient of every dish being served will be displayed. If you have specific dietary requirements that you are concerned about being met, you are welcome to bring your own food, and there will be sufficient time to travel off-site for a quick lunch.

REGISTRATION To expedite registration, please have a photo ID out and ready as you approach the check-in tables! Be sure to save your badge at the end of Day 1 and bring it with you on Day 2 - check-in will be expedited if you have it with you!

ACCESSIBILITY Both floors of MP7 are fully accessible. Talks in Valley Oak (the Main Conference Hall) will be closed captioned. There will be a designated all-gender restroom on the 2nd floor of the conference center. Please reach out to bazelcon-planning@google.com if you have any accessibility needs that you are concerned will not be met.

MOTHER’S ROOM A Mother’s Room will be available for any nursing mothers. Please reach out to bazelcon-planning@google.com if you need access!
